Our basic top-fed range
Alfa Laval’s range of top-fed separators has a number of features enhancing quality. A special disc inlet design enables very gentle acceleration of the feed and OxyStop hydrohermetic seal technology help preserve product quality.
Hermetic, bottom-fed Clara: the gentlest handling meets the highest efficiency
Alfa Laval’s unique bottom-fed Hermetic Design concept sets a market standard for efficient separation along with reduced power consumption. The design of the feed zone combined with the prevention of air-liquid interface ensures extremely gentle handling of shear-sensitive products, which can be particularly important in industrial fermentation and pharmaceutical processing. It also means there is no risk of product oxidization, enabling improved quality in food and beverage processing.
Complete plug-and-play system scope
The advanced technology of the Clara series goes far beyond the centrifuge itself. To make sure you get the best clarification performance, Alfa Laval can deliver the entire system scope, complete with everything you need to ensure reliable and efficient separation. This includes automation solutions as well as all piping, valves and other relevant process components. For smaller Claras, the complete system is installed on a moveable skid with wheels. Larger systems feature components mounted on a self-supporting stainless steel frame.
